Hi! I am trying to decide with Fireworks Dessert Party would be best for my family. Can you tell me the difference between the options and/or which one you recommend? For Happily Ever After please! Thank you!

Hiya, Angela! Thank you for bringing this great question to planDisney. We're happy you're here!

There are so many reasons I love visiting Walt Disney World Resort with my favorite people, but I especially love finding ways to add extra surprise and delight to our trip. This past May, I surprised my husband and our friends with a Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party! I did a lot of research on the different options and chose one that I thought would fit our travel party the best. As there are several options available, I'd love to help you pick just the right option for you!

    • The Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Seats & Sweets gives you an opportunity to view Happily Ever After from the patio of Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant! You'll enjoy the treats and sweets before the party, and then have a place to relax while enjoying the sparkling view. After a long day in the parks, this is definitely a worthwhile perk! Though this option is set slightly back and doesn't have a perfectly direct view of Cinderella Castle, the option to have seating is wonderful. You'll also be able to get a peek at the projections down Main Street, U.S.A. This is the option that most of my panelist friends choose for their own trips!
    • The Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Pre-Party allows Guests to enjoy the desserts at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant prior to entering the viewing area in the Plaza Garden! While this doesn't include physical chairs or seats, it does offer a prime viewing spot with a direct view of Cinderella Castle and the Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular. This is an excellent option for Guests who have little ones who can stay up late, but not too late, making sure that they have time earlier in the evening to prioritize and enjoy all of the treats!
    • The Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Post-Party allows Guests to enter the Plaza Garden first (after checking in at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant) to get an absolutely incredible view of Cinderella Castle and the Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular. While Guests of the Pre-Party are off enjoying their desserts, Guests of the Post-Party can find their favorite viewing spot in the Plaza Garden. This gives the Guests of the Post-Party a slight advantage for those who feel that viewing Happily Ever After is the most important part of this experience. Then, once the fireworks have concluded, these Guests can head off to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant to enjoy their sweets and treats! The best part is that you'll be enjoying your snacks while the rest of the Guests leave the park and head towards the transportation back to their resorts. Can you tell I love this option? This is the one I chose for myself and my travel party and we absolutely LOVED it. As a group of adults, this was the clear winner. We appreciated the great view of the fireworks and letting the nighttime crowds pass us by as we leisurely enjoyed our desserts. However, if you have little ones that would have a hard time staying up this late, this might not be the best option for you! You'll definitely want to make sure you have room and time to enjoy all of the delicacies after the fireworks.
The bottom line is this – you simply can't go wrong with any of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties! No matter which one you choose, this will definitely add some extra magic to your upcoming trip. If you have any other questions, please visit us again!
