Trying to decide if we want to drive our car and park at the parks or use the buses. Which is faster to get back to AKL with my stroller? Family of 3 my daughter will be under 3. Does she need a car seat in buses? Thanks!

    Hi Erica!

Ah yes...the age old question of car vs. bus.  Thankfully, we've done both, so I can definitely sympathize!

Parking is free at all the theme parks for guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, which is a huge perk. Having had the opportunity to use both a rental car and Disney transport, I cannot extol the comfort of a rental car enough! The flexibility of being able to come and go as one pleases really helps us to relax during our vacation. Although Disney transport is plentiful, there are time when guests have to wait for buses and/or monorail service, and the waits usually don't exceed 20 minutes, but with a fussy toddler or a tired kid, those minutes can last a long time!  She does not need a car seat for the buses, and they are not equipped with seat belts either, so keeping a close eye on your child is a must!

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
