Trying to decide between going to Disney at the end of September or mid Nov ... like around Veterans Day. Which would be the less crowded time to go? My husband has never been so I don't want to go when it's crowded, plus we'll have a 2 year old with us.

    Hi Angela,

Those are both great times to visit Walt Disney World.

I just checked the Crowd Calendar estimator at the independent website TouringPlans.com. On a scale of 1-10, they are estimating that the last week of September will have crowd levels no higher than a 3, with several days at the lowest possible 1 level. The week starting November 10, 2014 has the highest point at a four, with most of the days at the 2-3 level. This is still very manageable.

One other thing to consider is the weather. While the September crowds will be teeeny bit lower, the weather will certainly be hotter. I see that you're from Florida, so you're probably used to high temperatures, but if park touring in the heat will be an issue, then you might want to go with November.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
