I am trying to decide between AKL or Kidani Village. I have an 11 and 9 year old, both are girls. Which would you suggest? Is the pool area at Kidani Village geared towards little kids (5 and under?) or would my 2 enjoy it also? Thank you for your help!

    Hi Valerie,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I would suggest a stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village for your family. We have stayed with other families and kids of varied ages in the past, and everyone had a great time enjoying the diverse recreation at Kidani Village.

The Samawati Springs Pool at Kidani offers plenty of fun for everyone, including a 128-foot waterslide and two whirlpool spas. Your daughters can enjoy a variety of activities at Uwanja Camp, the pool area's water playground. From water cannons to squirting Venus flytraps, there is a lot of fun to be had. If anyone wants a change of pace, you are also free to visit the Uzima Pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Please send me a follow-up question for further information about Kidani Village or the parks. Enjoy planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Have a magical day,

    Bob A.
