Trying to decide on ADR's for upcoming trip (9/08-9/15)...just me and DD8 (first trip for both of us). What would be a good choice for Signature Dinning with an 8-yr. old? I'm between CG, Narcoossee's, and HBD. Thanks!

    Hi Derenda,

What a great way to spend some quality time with your daughter.  You two are certain to make many special memories!

All of those restaurants serve delicious food, but since you are looking for a special dining experience to share with an eight year old, I recommend California Grill.  Even as an adult, I think it's kind of exciting to give your name at the desk on the second floor and then ride the elevator up to the restaurant.  The open air kitchen will give you the opportunity to watch your food being prepared, and the views of the Magic Kingdom are beautiful.  Maybe you'll even be lucky enough to score a window seat!  If not, no worries - the lights will dim and the servers will stop serving during the fireworks.  You and your daughter can go out on the observation deck and enjoy the show.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
