Trying to coordinate what parks to visit on which day and where we should eat . What parks are closest and easiest to get to Chef Mickey and Cape May? I want as little traveling between parks and restaurants as possible so we dont waste much park time.

Hi Elisa! You're doing some really smart trip planning. I always schedule my meals according to the park I plan to visit each day so that I don't waste a lot of time traveling around Walt Disney World.

Chef Mickey's is closest to the Magic Kingdom. You can hop on the monorail or take a quick walk from the Contemporary Resort, where Chef Mickey's is located, to and from the Magic Kingdom. Chef Mickey's opens really early, typically at 7 a.m. so it's a perfect spot to have breakfast before heading to the Magic Kingdom for the day. At dinner, the Chef Mickey's sundae bar is a refreshing end to a day at the Magic Kingdom.

The Cape May Cafe is close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The Beach Club Resort, where the Cape May is located, is just a short walk or boat ride from Epcot. You can also hop on a boat to or from Hollywood Studios. The Studios are a little farther than Epcot, but still very convenient to the Beach Club. I love the Cape May character breakfast -- it's generally less crowded than Chef Mickey's, which means more interaction with the characters, and the food is always tasty and fresh.

Hope you have a magical vacation! Come see us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
