Trying to coordinate for next fall. Would like to get free dining but also MNSSHP tickets. Dont want to wait too long to book. Last trip I booked over a year out but don't want to book too soon to miss out on any special offers, any suggestions?

    Hi Michele,

I can totally understand getting a jump on your planning. In general, Disney does not release specials a year in advance. I found they are released maybe 4-6 months in advance.

What I would recommend is to book your hotel now for when you want to go. You can look at past trends on when free dining was offered and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party dates have been held. While not guaranteed they will be offered next year, you can use it as a guide.

Then I would sign up for email alerts from Disney, AllEars.Net and Mousesavers.com to get the latest on Disney specials. If a special is available during your stay, simply call Disney and ask for the special to be applied to your package. As long as rooms are available, Disney has been generous with adjusting packages.

I have done this in the past and my cousin did this for her summer vacation.

    Have a magical time planning!
