Aloha, Kristin!
Welcome to planDisney! Boy oh boy, I bet you are more than a little excited to embark on your magical
Walt Disney World Resort adventure in less than two months! Can you believe you'll get to play in Andy's backyard, fly with Dumbo, and travel to a galaxy far, far away? There's so much to look forward to on your trip, including the
50th Anniversary Celebration festivities and the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. It's never too early to start
counting down the days until you're off to Neverland!
I'm so glad you asked this question, because I love to use Disney Gift Cards on my trips as well. I like how safe they are and that you can choose from
so many cute designs. Unfortunately,
you are only able to use one method of payment per transaction to pay online at Walt Disney World Resort's site at this time. Not to worry though, because there are a couple of available options to make your payments using more than one gift card at a time.
Did you know you can consolidate smaller denominations of Disney Gift Cards into a larger lump sum? It's true! All you have to do is visit the
Disney Gift Card website and log in using your Disney account credentials (the same login you use for your
My Disney Experience account). You can then add and store up to six Disney Gift Cards in the "My Cards" section of the site and manage them from there. Once you've added a card to your account, you can transfer the amount from other Disney Gift Cards onto it or one of the other cards you have stored. You can transfer funds onto a single gift card until the balance equals a maximum of $1,000.
I utilize this every trip when I buy small denomination multi-packs of Disney Gift Cards and consolidate them onto one gift card. Another great feature is that you can view your transaction history for each of your six stored cards, so you know how much you've spent and where. If you happen to lose one of your stored gift cards, you can simply transfer the amount to another one of your stored cards through the website. I highly recommend you look into getting your account set up through here.
If you'd rather not utilize the Disney Gift Card site at this time, you can always call the fairy godparents, I mean friendly Guest Service Cast Members at 407-939-7675. They are able to take more than one gift card payment at a time over the phone and will surely be able to solve your conundrum faster than you can say bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!
Kristin, I can't wait for you to be right in the middle of the magic making memories to last a lifetime! A dream is a wish your heart makes, and I hope all your dreams come true on your trip.
Wishing you all the pixie dust,
Alyssa
