Trying to cancel a tee time and all I get (for three (3) days) is a fast busy. I can't use the tee time and don't want to be charged since I am doing my very best to meet the upfront cancellation time.

Fore! Let's tee it up, Patrick, because we hit 'em straight down the middle here at planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by today, but sorry you need to cancel your tee time. I hope you can reschedule and enjoy a round of Disney golf soon.

If you kept trying to call the number on the Walt Disney World Resort website today, you might have already gotten through by now. If so, I hope you were able to modify your upcoming tee time. When I called this afternoon, a plus-four-wearing Cast Member told me that their phone lines were down this morning, but they are working fine now.

Since the problem was on their end, the Cast Member said to be sure and tell the staff that you tried to cancel before your 24-hour window closed, and they might sprinkle some pixie dust and take that into consideration. Just so you know, the phone lines are typically manned from 7 AM to 8 PM EST.

My husband books his tee times at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course using the online system, but he usually has to call in to make any modifications. He enjoys the driving range there, and he can get in 9 holes while I play at the theme parks. We meet up for dinner and maybe a spin on an attraction or two; it's the perfect Disney day for us locals!

Patrick, I hope you straightened out your golf issue, and maybe we'll see you on the links sometimes. Stop by planDisney again; we always "putt" guests first!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
