I am trying to buy tickets to Disneyland for July 1 and Genie is no longer an option as an add on. Can you please advise?

    Welcome to planDisney, Emily!

It sounds like you're ready to unlock the phenomenal cosmic power of the Disney Genie+ Service. It’s wonderful that you’re planning to add this service to your admission tickets next month. It's like having your own personal magic carpet to whisk you away to the front of the line so that you don't have to go over, sideways, and under to climb aboard some of the most popular attractions, especially on these hot California days! So, let's dive in and conjure that Genie for you and your crew!

If you already have theme park tickets, all you need to do is make a grand entrance like Prince Ali Ababwa. Once you're officially in the parks, it's time to open the Disneyland Mobile App and whisper, "Genie, I wish for fast access to the rides!" Alright, alright, you don’t really have to say that out loud, but hey, I like a nice Aladdin quote. Obviously.

Next, you scroll down through the app and snag that Disney Genie+ option like Jafar hunting for the lamp. Finally, choose all the theme park tickets from your group linked together in the Disneyland Mobile App and make your Genie+ purchase! Just remember to be as quick because availability can vanish, so I recommend that you all arrive at the parks' opening time.

Unfortunately, Emily, if you haven’t already purchased your theme park tickets, and you are seeing that the Genie+ service is no longer available, it probably means that the allocated limit for guests using this service has been reached.

But Emily, if you still want quick access to some of the attractions during your visit, you can splurge on Individual Lightning Lane passes. My sister and I did this last spring. We planned to have a laid-back day at the park, but when we got there, we decided to buy impromptu Individual Lightning Lane passes for the newest attraction, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. Like royalty, we hopped right on the ride after stepping off of the Disneyland Monorail!

I hope this helps, Emily. Remember to take it wonder by wonder, and if you need any more help, all you gotta do is rub that lamp...I mean, reach out to me directly. I love to share my favorite tips, and I'm on the job, you big nabob!
