Howdy, Lori!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited to read that you are bringing your cast of characters to the
Disneyland Resort this spring! I know you’re going to make so many magical memories together and I’m so happy to help you with your question.
I’m glad to see that many of you have already downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile App, Lori. This is a great way to scan your
theme park tickets when you arrive, and I love how helpful it is to me when I'm planning my next visit to the resort even while I’m at home. If more than one member of your party has the Disneyland Mobile app on their mobile device, you all can link each other’s admission tickets to everyone else’s accounts. One of my good friends has my
Magic Key linked to hers. That way, we can take turns booking
Lightning Lane return times and scan each other through the turnstiles when we enter one of the parks!
From the mobile app, find the ☰ feature menu at the bottom right. Then choose “Tickets and Passes” at the top left. From there, tap the “Link Tickets & Passes” button near the top of the screen. If it isn’t showing, tap the ‘+’ button in the upper-righthand corner. You can then scan another ticket using the device camera or typing in the ticket ID. Once all of your theme park tickets are linked, you can make reservations for your whole party! In the app, you can also find the plus sign in the middle of the bottom of the screen and you'll even see the option to
Make a Park Reservation. My fellow panelist,
Tony S, also has some useful tips for linking your party’s tickets together and enjoying Lightning Lane entrances!
I hope this answered your question about adding a Magic Key to your account, Lori. I can’t wait to hear about which adventures you and your Mousketeers are planning to get into, so feel free to come on back and
let me know if you have any other questions now that you’ve got a friend in me.
See ya real soon,
Danielle
