Hi Ninette! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
It sounds like you purchased a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Package, which included the option to add a car rental. Vacation packages offer great value for Guests with exclusive benefits and some fun surprises. Right now, subject to availability, you'll receive a lanyard and collectible pin! My family loves the dining discount at participating locations in
Downtown Disney District. There are a lot of delicious
options!
Your trip is right around the corner, and I bet you're excited to explore the magic with your group. Let's see if I can't point you in the right direction, so you're ready to have the best time ever! Guests who have purchased a package through Disney can call the dedicated
Vacation Packages line to speak with a helpful Cast Member, who will be happy to assist you in whatever way they can, including questions you might have about billing. A quick call always gets me the assistance I need.
Do you have your original confirmation e-mail that you received upon purchase of the package? If not, don't worry! The Cast Member can assist you with that too. But that e-mail should include all the information you need associated with your package, including your third-party car rental agency. According to the
terms, you'll need to present a valid driver's license with an acceptable credit card in the name of the driver when picking up your vehicle at the car rental counter.
You won't need to carry around a bunch of printed-out papers for your hotel or theme park admission. Downloading the
Disneyland mobile app to your mobile device will be your helpful digital proof of your hotel reservation and admission tickets.
Your confirmation e-mail should include a confirmation or reservation number, which will allow you to link your resort reservation to your Disneyland account. I can walk you through this process. To link a resort reservation, navigate to the Disneyland Resort website and sign in. Hover over "My Disneyland" at the top left side of the page. Select "My Hotel Reservations." Paste your confirmation number, enter the last name associated with the reservation, and input your arrival date using the calendar. Click continue to link your hotel. The process is similar for linking your admission tickets. Under "My Disneyland" select "Link Tickets." You'll need to input the ID Numbers for your tickets, which should be in your confirmation e-mail.
Once your hotel and tickets are linked, they'll appear in the Disneyland mobile app. Click the three-bar icon at the bottom of the app to bring up a series of tiles. "My Hotel Reservations" will bring up your hotel information, and "Tickets and Passes" will contain your digital admission tickets, which you'll use to scan into the parks. At the hotel front desk, they'll ask for your name and you'll need to present an ID, but you won't need to present any papers.
I hope this helps!
