Hello I am trying to book a vacation for July. We love the beach club. There are 8 adults and we would like 3 rooms at the Beach club. Do I have to call for this reservation? The website won't allow me to book 3 rooms there.

    Hi Kathleen!

Welcome to planDisney! While currently, only Disney’s Beach Club Villas are open for Guests, the rest of the resort rooms at Disney’s Beach Club Resort are scheduled to open on May 30! Many fans consider the pool at the resort, Stormalong Bay to be the best pool on property. Finish your afternoon at the pool with an ice cream cone from Beaches & Cream or a quick and easy evening walk to Epcot! There is no wonder so many families love Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

While some travel companies book multiple rooms under a single reservation, at the Walt Disney World Resort, each room is considered a separate booking and must be booked individually. Whether you are booking through Disney Vacation Club, or through the Walt Disney World Website, you must book one room at a time, and you will end up with three separate reservation numbers. If you’d like to do this online, go ahead and book each room separately. If after booking one room or two, if you are unable to book the third, it could be that there are not three rooms available, and you should call for help booking. Once you have all of your reservations you can call and have a notation added to each reservation that you are a party traveling together and you would like to request your rooms be near one another. Please note, this is only a request and is not guaranteed. My requests are often granted, but not always. We plan for the possibility that our rooms may be on different floors or different sections of the resort.

Alternately, you can call Disney to make all three reservations over the phone at (407)-W-DISNEY and have it noted you are a group traveling together, or consider using a Disney Authorized Travel Agent. Many people assume that Travel Agents cost more than booking yourself, but they don’t! For a larger party, you may find the benefits of using a Travel Agent very convenient. I would recommend you look for a Disney Authorized Travel Agent who has a lot of personal experience with Walt Disney World Vacations.

I hope this helps as you plan your upcoming visit, Kathleen. Please let us know if you have additional questions as your trip approaches, we are always happy to talk Disney!
