Hi there, Beth! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so sorry to hear you are having some difficulty booking those
theme park tickets. I can understand that might be putting a slight damper on the magic, but let's take a look and see what we can do to get you to the Happiest Place on Earth! What I can tell you is that you are not alone. Several Guests have had similar issues over the last month, so it may be a glitch with the site from time to time. I would start by making sure all is well on your end with your credit card company directly. If you've tried to make the purchase several times already, it's good to make sure they haven't put a hold on your account and that all is in order. Good to go? I have a few troubleshooting tips that I hope will be helpful!
This may sound obvious, but I've seen it help with my own two eyes! Turning your device off and on or even switching devices (from the Disneyland Mobile App on a phone to using the website on a computer) can sometimes give the system just enough of a nudge to get that purchase to go through.
If you are using the website, closing out your browser and opening up a fresh, new window can spark some movement. Clearing the cache and starting anew is also very helpful!
My fellow panelist
Tony suggests double-checking that all of your credit card billing details are current and accurate within your account, including your billing address and phone number. He adds that if you have an apartment number, sometimes it helps to keep that on the first line of the address.
While this may add an extra step or two, several of my fellow panelists suggest purchasing
Disney Gift Cards and using those to pay for the tickets. You will see the option to "Use a Disney Gift Card" just under the "How Would You Like to Pay?" banner. Once those tickets are purchased, you can save any balance to use for snacks and souvenirs once you are in the parks!
Lastly, if you are still having issues with your purchase, I would reach out to your
local travel agent for assistance. I know you are hoping to visit in just a few short weeks, so this may be your best option to ensure your tickets are purchased and your theme park reservations are in place.
I know your road to the magic has been a bit windy, but your days at the Disneyland Resort are just around the corner, Beth! The good news is that you will be hitting the parks just as Halloween Time is getting into full swing. You will love the once-a-year overlays on some of your favorite attractions like Haunted Mansion Holiday and Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark! Not to mention, Mickey, Minnie, and all their pals dressed up for the season in some of the cutest costumes around. While I don't know what Goofy has chosen for his costume this year, my personal favorite was Skeleton Goofy! Stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog which will likely release a Halloween Time Foodie Guide. This will be your road map to all the best tricks and treats for the season!
Beth, I hope this was helpful in your planning. If you have any more questions, come back to see us here at

Never stop dreaming!
