I tried to buy tickets to Disneyland and CA Adventure online & the purchases are getting rejected. I have funds on my CC to cover the transaction and have contacted my CC company and they are not declining the transaction and Disney is, why? Contact?

    Hello, Melissa,

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear you have had trouble with purchasing your Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. I hope Experiment 626 (A.K.A. Stitch) hasn’t been causing trouble again.

To help you resolve this issue, you may contact a Cast Member with the Tickets phone line. In the meantime, there are a few things that may be worth trying as well. Since you verified with your card issuer that your credit card is in good standing, the next thing to check would be the settings in your Disney profile. You will want to make sure that the addresses in both the account settings and the payment methods match the billing address used by your credit card company. If you have an apartment or other unit number in your address, I’ve heard it is best to keep that on the first line of the address fields instead of moving it to the second line. For security, it’s also a good practice to update your phone number. Sometimes, I’ve heard it helps to switch to a different device. For example, you may wish to switch between using the Disneyland mobile app or a computer to make a ticket purchase.

Tony’s Tip: To work around the credit card issue altogether, I personally prefer to use Disney Gift Cards to purchase theme park tickets for my family. This works in our favor, even more, when I can find these handy cards at a discounted price at my local Target or discount warehouse club. The value of multiple cards can also be combined on the Disney Gift Card website to make ticket purchases more convenient.

I am wishing on a star that things go smoothly for your ticket purchase, Melissa. And remember, as a last resort, you may purchase theme park tickets in person at the Disneyland Resort main entrance ticket booths. If it does come down to that, please be sure to check the theme park reservation availability calendar to be sure that reservations are still available on the day you wish to visit. You will only be able to enter the parks that day if reservations are still available on that calendar.

    Have a magical time, Melissa!
