I absolutely love your choice of Disney Resort. My family has made some wonderful memories at the whimsical All-Star Movies Resort! I tried a few options using the
Build Your Vacation search tool on the Walt Disney World website (which is likely the same thing you were trying). Incidentally, this is one of my favorite pastimes. It's like a little hobby of mine, so thanks for sending this question my way!
I found that same results, and agree that it's surprising to see a Disney Resort fully booked so far in advance. It seems to be specifically because Sunday, May 10th is fully booked at All-Star Movies... which is a bibbidi bobbidi bummer for your plans. If I had to guess, it may be related to Mother's Day and celebrations on that date.
Let's talk about some options for you to get this magical vacation plan back on track! All we need is just a little faith, trust, and pixie dust... right?
- Could you possibly adjust your dates to arrive 1 day later? I'm seeing availability for All-Star Movies on May 11-17, 2026, if that would be an option for you?
- Although it is priced a little bit higher, Pop Century is also a Disney Value Resort with current availability for your preferred dates. This resort is very comparable, featuring delightful theming and similar fun vibes, plus the added perk of offering Disney Skyliner transportation to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. My kids love riding the convenient and enjoyable Skyliner to the parks, it's like an attraction in itself!
- Have you ever consider a "split-stay" which is staying at two different Disney Resorts during one vacation? If you were open to trying a different resort for that first night (or more), then you could move to your preferred All-Star Movies on May 11. This can actually be a lot of fun to enjoy the variety, and bell services can even help out by moving your luggage from Resort A to Resort B... while you go enjoy your day at the parks!
I recommend making a reservation as soon as possible, as it can always be modified later. You may even see a
Special Offer featured as your vacation dates get closer. If this happens, you can modify your existing reservation to take advantage of the deal and save some money. Woo hoo!
