Konnichiwa, Haley!
We're so glad you've chosen to
be our guest as you prepare for your January visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
EPCOT is my favorite place in Walt Disney World, and sampling global cuisine is one of the best ways to enjoy this park. Let's dig in!
My fellow
planDisney pals and I often travel in large groups, so we understand the challenges of finding dining reservations for parties of 8 or 10 Guests. To navigate this, we usually split into smaller groups and book two or three separate reservations for the same or overlapping times. While seating together or nearby isn't guaranteed, we've had success by arriving a little early and speaking with the check-in Cast Member about accommodating us. We also let them know we're happy to wait if it increases the chances of fulfilling our request.
I recommend this strategy if a single reservation for your entire party at
Shiki-Sai isn't available. Remember that one person can't book multiple reservations for the same meal, so you'll need at least two people in your group to make the bookings.
I hope this tip helps, Haley, and that your dining plans come together seamlessly! While in the area, be sure to explore the Japan pavilion. Its tranquil atmosphere offers a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of World Showcase. And don't miss the
Mitsukoshi Department Store! It's a cool place to shop and a cozy retreat from January's chilly temperatures.
Thanks for sending your question to planDisney. Please reach out again if there's anything else we can do to make your winter visit even more magical. We look forward to welcoming you "home" soon.
Happy holidays,
Betsy
