I am trying to book the garden plaza dessert viewing package for our trip in June. Although it is less than 180 days away, the dates are all blocked on the calendar after May 27th. Is this normal? Are they getting rid of it?? Help!!

Hi, Kathryne! I assure you, you are not the only person watching for those dates to open! We are planning to celebrate my daughter's ninth birthday in Magic Kingdom Park in June, so I have planned to surprise her with a pixie-dusted day in the park, capped off by the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. Why have a single cake when you can give the birthday girl fireworks and ALL THE DESSERTS!?! It's a Happily Ever After, indeed!

I have no inside information, but I think you have nothing to worry about. Just be patient and keep trying because I am sure the booking calendar will be extended. In my experience with dessert parties, they open weeks to months at a time and you never quite know when they may open. This leads to a lot of daily screen refreshing, but it will definitely be worth it to have that perfect view of Cinderella Castle as Happily Ever After is displayed right in front of us.

Sending you all the magical wishes that your wish is soon granted, Kathryne! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
