Hi Jason,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm sorry to hear that you're having some trouble making your
dining reservations. With an immediate family of seven myself, I'm used to traveling with larger groups and would be happy to offer a solution.
Hopefully, you were able to get in touch with a Cast Member and everything is all straightened out now, but if it isn't, I'd recommend having another adult in your party book one of the reservations while you book the other. You're exactly right that one Guest can't have two separate dining reservations at the same time, but you could book a time slot for a party of four while another adult in your party books a reservation for a party of three near the same time. When you arrive at the restaurant, you'll simply want to inform the Cast Member at check-in that you're traveling together and would like to be seated near each other. It may mean that you have to wait a bit longer for two nearby tables to be cleared, but in my experience, Cast Members will always try their best to meet Guests' needs. I'm sending pixie dust that everything works out perfectly for you, and your entire group can enjoy a fantastic and delicious meal together!
One other tip I have for you as you're planning a visit with lots of fellow Mouseketeers is to make sure you're all connected within My Disney Experience via the
Family & Friends list. This will allow you to view each other's plans and share your Disney PhotoPass photos. In fact, did you know that if just one of you purchases
Memory Maker, you'll be able to view, share, and download the photos and videos collected by all seven of you? That's a great way to keep the memories of your incredible trip alive for years to come!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Jason, and please feel free to come back and see us again if we can help with anything else. I hope you and your entire crew have a truly magical vacation together!
Missy
