Hi Leonard!
Welcome to planDisney! We are so glad you've decided to drop by and ask us about dining reservations! We have had the opportunity to enjoy many delicious meals at the Walt Disney World Resort. From delicious French cuisine at
Chefs de France to authentic Irish foods at
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant, we've expanded our palates and taste buds while on vacation!
At Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, there are several dining experiences that Guests can try and book.
Tiffins Restaurant is their signature dining experience offering such foods as charred octopus and my favorite, butter chicken.
Tusker House Restaurant is the character dining experience at Animal Kingdom Theme park, where Guests can dine on delicious African-inspired meals, served buffet style, while Mickey Pals come around to wave hello.
Yak and Yeti Restaurant treats Guests to Pan-Asian foods such as sweet and sour pork and Ahi tuna nachos, which are fabulous! Directly outside of the park, you'll find
Rainforest Cafe, which offers you a great variety of foods, from burgers to salads, accompanied by an occasional rainstorm.
Leonard, I see that you are traveling to Orlando in mid-April. This happens to coincide with many Spring Break weeks happening in the Northeast, which may explain why dining availability is limited. While you may not be able to snag a dining reservation right now, my recommendation is to check the
My Disney Experience App regularly, as cancelations happen often, and you'll be able to book. Also, you can check while you are in the parks, as last-minute availability may occur. You can open the My Disney Experience App, and click on the My Genie Day tab. There is a dedicated 'Tip Board' where you can see whether a dining reservation may be available, or if there is a waitlist you can join for one of the restaurants listed.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
Malanie
