I am trying to book 3 days in the parks, but I can't schedule the days I am needing. Is there a way to extend the days I am able t schedule from?

    Hi Cynnara,

Welcome to planDisney! The solution you are looking for will depend on what type of ticket you are purchasing or have already purchased. Disney World has several different ticket options to choose from when purchasing tickets to ensure that each guest gets exactly what they need for their vacation.

If you buy a date-based ticket, you will choose a start date for your ticket. Based on the number of days you purchase, you will be given a period of time that you will have to use all of the days of your ticket within. For example, If you purchase a 4-day ticket, you will have a range of 7 days that you can use to visit each of Disney's theme parks one day. If you add the Park Hopper Option, you will be able to visit multiple theme parks each day. This window can not be changed or extended. If you are trying to book a day at the theme parks outside of that window, you will have to purchase a separate ticket or a different ticket type that allows more frequent visits, like an Annual Pass.

If you need to move the start date of your ticket so the range available to you is different, that is an option. The length of the range will not change but the start date can. The easiest way to do this is to log into your My Disney Experience app and navigate to "My Tickets & Passes" by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. Scroll until you see the ticket you need to update and click "Change Tickets" underneath it. You can choose a new start date for your tickets and follow the directions to check out. If there is a difference in cost for your new dates, you will be prompted to check out and pay the difference.

If you are still having issues getting your tickets aligned with the right dates for travel, I recommend calling Existing Tickets and talking to a Cast Member. They are super helpful and will be able to make changes needed over the phone.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
