Pam, I’m sorry you weren’t able to secure a reservation for a
Character Dining experience. I have been there and felt that disappointment many times before. Don’t give up quite yet though! When it comes to dining, plans change frequently, so there’s a good chance a reservation could open up before you arrive. Just keep
checking for dining reservations once or twice a day leading up to your vacation and select every time option on the "Search By Time" feature when you do. There’s always a chance something will pop up that wasn’t there today.
If you still aren’t able to book a reservation ahead of time, utilize the
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability feature in your
My Disney Experience mobile app while you are here for your vacation. It allows you to join the same-day walk-up list at select restaurants on property when there’s availability. Search for dining reservations in your mobile app the way that you always do, but click on "Now" under the "Search by Time” options. If any of these restaurants have availability, they will pop up on your screen.
