Why hello there, Lisa! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm going to let you in on a little secret: I love to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Well, I suppose that's not a very good secret! But Lisa, in order to visit (almost) as often as I'd like, I need to be thoughtful about how I budget and plan for my vacations. I'm happy to stretch my magic wand as far as it will go to help you plan a truly magical experience!
First, I'm so glad that you've checked out the current promotions listed on the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page! This is always my first go-to when looking for a great deal at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Since you've already looked at these options for you and your travel party, we'll keep moving on to some more tips to help you offset the cost of a third Theme Park Ticket!
I would also take a look at the
Value Resort Hotels available during your desired dates. Value Resorts are wallet-friendly options that still fully capture the magic with larger-than-life icons of your favorite characters! My personal pick would be
Disney's Pop Century Resort. I'm a big fan of the giant Mickey phone (an exact replica of an actual phone I used as a kid!) and the access to the Disney Skyliner - my favorite mode of transportation! There's nothing like a gentle ride with a stunning aerial view of Walt Disney World Resort at the end of a park day.
Another great way to budget is to choose
quick service dining locations over table service restaurants. Some of my absolute favorite meals are from quick-service locations and they also offer the ultimate flexibility and spontaneity! My top pick for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is
Satu'li Canteen (order the blueberry cheesecake for dessert!). At Disney's Hollywood Studios, I always make sure to stop by
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo (trust me - get the Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread). When visiting EPCOT, you can't go wrong with
Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue. But if you stop anywhere, please make it
Sleepy Hollow at Magic Kingdom Park. Grab the Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich. While you're at it, you can mail one to me, too! Pro tip: download the
My Disney Experience app so you can
mobile order your food. That way, your meal will be ready before you ever feel a rumbly in your tumbly!
I would love for you to also check out these awesome ideas from my fellow panelists,
Alyssa and
Mike! They have some great ideas, including packing your own snacks and purchasing discounted Disney Gift Cards.
Lisa, I hope I was able to give you some ideas on how to plan a Walt Disney World Resort vacation that's practically perfect in every way!
See ya real soon!
