Hiya, Judy! Thanks for bringing this great question to planDisney.
Oh boy, it sounds like you have a magical trip to
Walt Disney World Resort planned for this summer! Like Woody and Buzz or Timon and Pumbaa, adventures are so much better with friends. I'd love to help you connect with your travel party through your Family & Friends List!
Judy, the
Family & Friends List is split up into two sections – "People I Have Plans With" and "People I Do Not Have Plans With." Before we talk about these two sections, you'll first want to click "Add a Guest" to add each friend in your travel party. Personally, I have the best experience when selecting "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation." Once they accept the invitation on their end, they'll be connected with you through this list!
Once all of your Guests have been added, you may see them in the "People I Do Not Have Plans With." This can easily be changed by making plans with these Guests! For example, if you make
theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system for the same theme parks on the same days, this would move your friends into the "People I Have Plans With" List. Additionally, making theme park reservations is an important step to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip!
You could also make
advance dining reservations together, which would move these friends to the "People I Have Plans With" list. You can make advance dining reservations 60 days prior to your trip. If you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you'll be able to make these reservations 60 days prior to your trip for the length of your trip (up to 10 days)!
I hope I was able to point you in the right direction, Judy! If you have any other questions please write to us again. Remember –
you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
Michelle
