I am trying to add my brother, sister in law and his kids to my family and friends to manage with genie plus. Do I need to add each individually or just him with his linking code and his entire family will come over to my list?

Welcome to planDisney, Dennis! Are your bags packed and waiting by the door? I know mine would be if I were heading to Walt Disney World Resort this week. I'm so excited that you're bringing along some family to enjoy the magic. Let's talk about linking everyone together so you can share your plans for a practically perfect visit!

Sharing plans with Family & Friends is the best way to sync up all your activities so everyone knows the schedule. Once you're linked, everyone can see dining reservations, Lightning Lane entry times, and even virtual queues you've joined.

For all guests who manage their own accounts, you will need to link individually by using their linking codes or by sending an invitation to share plans via email. If your brother manages his children's accounts, you might be able to see them on your list after you are sharing plans with him. Since this will depend on how your brother has his sharing permissions set up, I can't be sure what the process will be.

I suggest you give it a try, and if you need additional assistance, call the My Disney Experience line. Cast Members can see your account and make sure you're all linked up. When you call, be sure to have all your family members' full names, email addresses, and home addresses so they can verify those accounts.

My final tip is to give yourself extra time the first morning you purchase Disney Genie+ service. You and your brother can buy the service on your mobile apps anytime after midnight, so you can be ready to make your first selection at 7:00 AM sharp. It might be a good idea to be together or on a phone call that first morning to do any troubleshooting; if you're not linked correctly, you can still choose the same attraction and similar return window. Guest Relations at the theme parks will be there to offer guidance if you hit any snags.

Once you're linked, you should also be able to join virtual queues for your whole family, and I recommend you try TRON Lightcycle / Run. This high-speed motorcycle-style attraction at Magic Kingdom Park is the smoothest coaster I've ever ridden. Your family will have a blast racing through the Grid for Team Blue!

Dennis, I hope your visit is a dream come true! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
