It sounds like you have a
Resort hotel reservation that includes your friend, but you are having a hard time connecting their account to the reservation, is that right? This happened to me recently! We need to make the system recognize that your pal's name on the reservation represents your actual friend.
Try asking your friend to open their
My Disney Experience Mobile App, select the three little horizontal lines in the bottom right corner, and then scroll down to Hotel Reservations. There, they can enter the Confirmation Number and the Lead Guest's last name to be connected. At that point,
My Disney Experience should recognize the name match and you should be able to share your plans.
If you are not sharing a Resort hotel room reservation, there could be one small setting that we need to change to begin to share plans with your friend. In your My Disney Experience Mobile App, select the three little horizontal lines, scroll to Profile, and select Family & Friends List. There, select your friend, and be sure that the answer to "Choose Which Plans [Best Buddy] Can See" is switched to "All My Plans."
If neither of these steps overcome our little setback, then it is time to give the friendly Cast Members at the helpline a quick call. They can make sure that the settings on the back end are perfect for a stress-free vacation with your favorite people. Simply call the
