Is the trundle bed at Port Orleans Riverside heavy and big enough to hold an 11 year old boy who stands 5'5" and weights 150 lbs? I have a family of five, 2 adults, 2 -5 year olds and the 11 year old

Hi Sara! It's nice to hear from another NC resident!

My understanding is that Disney recommends the trundle beds at Port Orleans Riverside for children under age 10 and less than 54 inches. The trundles are smaller than twin size beds and have a fairly thin mattress. I think one of your five-year-olds might be more comfortable on the trundle than your 11-year-old would be.

I hope this helps! Hope you have a wonderful vacation!
