Is it true if you’re not staying on property, you have to wait to make dinning reservations 30 days prior to your trip?

    Heigh-Ho Alan,

Nope. Negative. So Not True. In fact, Guests, whose Home Away From Home, is not at Walt Disney World Resort can make Advanced Dining Reservations 60-days prior to the day they wish. Currently, the only difference is, if you were staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, Guests could make Advanced Dining Reservations 60-days prior to the start of their resort reservation as well as for the entirety of their trip or up to 10-days. In your case, you can only make a 60-day reservation. You will need to revisit online booking, your My Disney Experience mobile app or call (407) WDW-DINE for each reservation search 60-days out.

If I can help with any further Disney Dining questions feel free to ask and download the My Disney Experience mobile app. Here you can search for reservations, scan QR codes for mobile dine Walk-Up availability, place quick-service mobile food and beverage orders and check in for your dining reservations. This handy dandy tool is your vacation hub become comfortable navigating it before your arrival.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
