Hiya Sai,
Welcome BACK to
planDisney! It is so wonderful to see you here asking another question about a holiday in
Walt Disney World. My family absolutely loves using the
Disney Dining Plan and has never felt as though our options were limited when dining. Having meals and snacks already budgeted into our holiday allows us to relax and enjoy ourselves. There are a few differences you will notice when dining with a Disney Dining Plan, so you will want to decide for yourself which option is the best option for you.
The
Quick Service Dining Plan provides each Guest in the party, over age 3, 2 Quick-Service Meals and 2 Snacks/Nonalcoholic Beverages per night of stay. The
Disney Dining Plan (my family's favorite option) offers Guests 1 Quick-Service Meal and 1 Table-Service Meal as well as 2 Snacks/Nonalcoholic Beverages per night of stay. The newest Dining Plan option, the
Disney Dining Plan Plus offers Guests any combination of 2 Quick-Service or Table Service meals, as well as 2 Snacks/Nonalcoholic Beverages, per night of stay. The most indulgent of the Dining Plan options is the
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, offering Guests any combination of Quick-Service and Table-Service for 3 meals and 2 Snacks/Nonalcoholic Beverages per night of stay. Another key difference between the Dining Plan options is that an appetizer or starter is only included in the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan for Table-Service meals for lunch or dinner.
Please note that there are a few menu items in various restaurants that will be unavailable when using a Dining Plan, but I have found there to be a plethora of options that are available. It is also important to note that at this time, Dining Plans are unavailable and there is no information as to when they may return. I do hope to see them available again soon as my family has utilized a Dining Plan option for every stay in Walt Disney World that we have enjoyed in the past 12 years. I highly recommend that you continue to check the
Dining: Know Before You Go page for the most up to date information about dining in Walt Disney World.
I hope that this information is helpful to you, Sai. Please stop back by
planDisney if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
