Is it true all 5th sleeper rooms at Port Orleans Riverside are in the alligator bayou section? I changed to standard 5th sleeper room so I could guarantee bayou section room.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Marissa! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by!

Lassiez le bon temps rouler! I am happy to report that the Standard 5th sleeper rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside are in the Alligator Bayou Section! I stayed in Building 24 last year in a 5th sleeper room, and I loved how spacious and comfortable our room was. The subtle nods to Disney's The Princess and the Frog were so cute, and it was fun finding the hidden Mickey's too!

Riverside is such a beautiful resort, from the adventurous Bayou section to the beautiful, charming Magnolia Bend area. What's great about the Alligator Bayou section is that three smaller pools are closer to these buildings, if you don't want to trek down to Ol'Man Island after a day at the parks! Take a photo of the resort's Recreation Activities Guide when you check in (in the lobby area) to keep track of all the daily activities, including Movies Under the Stars and s'mores at Campfire on de' Bayou! Check out the beautiful walking path along the Sassagoula River to Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter, where you can pick up delicious Mickey-shaped beignets!

Marissa, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thanks again for visiting planDisney. I hope you and your family have a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort!

    Magic Awaits!
