¡Hola, Hana! And welcome to planDisney. If I’m going to be stuck in the rain, there’s no place I’d rather be than at Disney! So let’s chat about what it’s like at Disneyland Paris when the forecast is cloudy and wet.
There are often fewer guests in the theme parks on a rainy day, so it can be a great time to get a lot done. Outdoor attractions will often stay open if it’s just drizzling, but they may close if the weather gets worse. However, there are plenty of indoor rides where you’ll be protected from the rain, like
Pirates of the Caribbean and
Phantom Manor in Disneyland Park, and
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and the new
Frozen Ever After in Disney Adventure World.
One of the other things I love about Disneyland Paris is the amazing shows, like
Mickey and the Magician and
The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands. And those theaters are a great place to go when it’s raining.
Disneyland Park is set up really well for rainy weather with two covered walkways on either side of Main Street U.S.A.
Liberty Arcade takes you towards Frontierland, and
Discovery Arcade takes you towards Discoveryland. Not only are they practical, but they’re also filled with hidden gems to discover. And it also lets you explore many of the shops and eateries on Main Street U.S.A., while staying dry!
If the weather forecast looks rainy for your visit, I’d recommend buying or bringing a poncho (it can be hard to navigate the park with an umbrella). I also like to bring a plastic bag to keep important items dry and extra socks in case my shoes get soggy.
