Is it true that if it is your birthday you can go to the park for FREE?

chEARs Maria and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I had hEARd this (fantastic!) rumor for a long time and had to do some resEARch to see if there was free entrance historically on your birthday. Turns out, my dEAR friend, Anne Marie, has all the answers! YEARs ago, Disney Parks offered a year-long promotion called "What Will You Celebrate?" Included in this program was complimentary admission on your birthday. Which is awesome! Unfortunately, it was a limited offer and discontinued.

No worries, though! There are plenty of fantastic options for celebrating your birthday at the Resort. Before you buy your ticket, take a look at the Offers & Discounts page. You might find a deal that is worthy of a birthday gift! Once you arrive at the Park, head first to Guest Relations, where a Cast Member will happily bestow a complimentary Celebration Button. We just returned last week from celebrating two birthdays at the 'World, and the birthday boy and girl were congratulated everywhere they wore their buttons!

Besides the buttons, every birthday girl needs a hat. I am in love with the Disney Parks Designer Collection of Ears! There is a hat for everyone - from the gorgeous ALEX and ANI Headband to the Hipster Mickey Mouse Ear Hat, to my daughter's favorite, the Minnie Mouse Donut Ear Headband! Once you've got your button and your hat, there is a basketful of options to continue the celebration. Some of us at the panel came up with a bunch of ideas for a fantastic birthday, you'll find them here!

    Happy birthday to you!
