Is this true? If you arrive aprx. 15-20 minutes early to the Magic Kingdom prior to the park opening, you'll be able to witness all the characters arriving on the train and that they sing a morning song to everyone before entering the park for the day?

    Hi Jennifer,

Yes it is true and is one of my favourite ways to start a Walt Disney World trip. Just before the park opens there is an opening ceremony with lots of characters, singing and dancing. I won't say too much as I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise but I have to admit to getting a bit teary eyed every time I watch and it is a definite "must do" for our family, OK for me ;-)

I really hope you get to see it and another great bonus of being at the park when it opens is you will get straight on to so many rides before the crowds arrive. Make sure to stand as near to the middle of the train station as possible for the best view.

There are also opening ceremonies at all the other Disney parks, Magic Kingdoms is by far my favourite though.

    Have a magical trip,
