Rebecca, it's a pleasure to welcome you to planDisney today.
When planning your trip to Walt Disney World, I completely understand the importance of sorting out accessibility services, so let's dive right in.
Since you're from the U.K., like me, you won't be able to preregister for the Disability Access Service (DAS) in advance. No worries, though! Simply swing by
Guest Relations when you arrive at any Walt Disney World theme park. It's a quick discussion with some delightful Cast Members to determine if it's the right fit for you, ta-da, you're sorted for the whole trip! You don't need official documentation for the service to remain in place.
Given the vast expanse of Walt Disney World, it's no surprise that a fair bit of walking is involved. My personal record? A whopping 29 thousand steps in one day! If you reckon a
wheelchair or ECV might help you make the most of this magical adventure, you have options. You can rent day-by-day at the Parks or opt for ScooterBug, who can cover you for the entire trip. Book in advance, and they'll take care of the delivery and return with Disney Resort Cast Members.
Walt Disney World prides itself on making everyone feel welcome and provides plenty of
information online about accessibility services. I like to think they've thought of everything to make all Guests experience their own magic!
Rebecca, have an absolute blast at Disney World. It's going to be brilliant! And remember, you're welcome to pop back to
planDisney anytime with any other questions or concerns.
