Hi Cathy!
How exciting to be
taking your grandchildren to the Walt Disney World Resort! Most of our visits include my parents, and some of my favorite Disney memories include them. My oldest would always want to sit next to his Gran on rides, and my middle son and my father have a long standing contest on who is the champion of Toy Story Mania!
Here is a
handy list of attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort and their height requirements. You are smart to be prepared in advance, to help ward off any last minute disappointment. Please know that children must meet the height requirement in their shoes, and Cast Members may check each child both at the entrance to the queue and before boarding.
In addition to actual rides, there are so many other attractions, shows, and activities that are designed for the entire family to enjoy. If the more petite grandchild isn’t able to board an attraction, and you decide to let the other two go, you’ll find plenty of other activities and shops to explore to make some one-on-one time with that child special. Maybe a character visit, a special souvenir, or a Mickey Bar just for her!
I hope this helps with your planning, Cathy! Wishing you and your entire family a truly magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
