    3rd trip this year (12-18), 7th overall--just DD18 & myself this time. What special things do you recommend doing? I've always dreamed of going to DW at Christmas and now it's come true! Thanks.

    What a special time of the year to be at the Walt Disney World Resorts! So how to bring out the magic of the holidays?

    I really enjoyed Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. There is hot chocolate, cookies, a special parade and fireworks for you to view. It even snow on Main Street! Then you can ride your favorite rides at night.

    Another enjoyable event is the Christmas Processional. I did not think I would enjoy this until I experienced it last year. If you can walk onto the show, go for it!

    However, some of my favorite magic does not even happen in the parks. It happens at the resorts. The resorts are decorated so beautifully. The Grand Floridian has a giant gingerbread house to view so enjoy tea at the hotel while you are enjoying the decorations. The Boardwalk one year had a gingerbread carousel which was incredible.

    So book some dinners at the resorts and enjoy the magic!
