trip with a 4 year old . our dates are 22nd to 26th december .help ! 1. would decemeber be too cold a time to use the water parks , 2.if we stayed at the floridian can lil one have breakfast with micky and minni .3. are the parks too crowded during xma

Hi, Saimohan!  I can't think of a more magical time to be at Walt Disney World than during the Christmas holidays.  It is going to be crowded, but if you go expecting the crowds and work out ahead of time a good itinerary that allows for extra time waiting for rides and attractions, I think this is still an awesome time to visit Walt Disney World.

Temperatures in December are usually in the low 70s as daytime highs.  You might find the odd day reaching up towards 80, but you might also find the days might be cooler.  The water at the water parks is heated, though, so even if the days are cool, the water will be comfortably warm.  I know people, especially those coming from cold climates like the Northeast and the Midwest, will still enjoy the waterparks even when the temperature is on the cool side.

Anyone can enjoy a character breakfast, whether they are staying at the Grand Floridian, any of the other Walt Disney World resorts, or if they are staying at a hotel off Disney property.  You will want to make an advanced dining reservation for character meals, however, as they do tend to book very quickly.  Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is a favorite of my children, and you can try there for breakfast or dinner.  Another good location is the Garden Grill at EPCOT, where you'll see Farmer Mickey and friends at lunch and dinner.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
