Hi! Our trip this year is November 16-24 and we're hoping for Christmas decorations. Since Food and Wine will still be at EPCOT, will they decorate for Christmas before the cut over to Festival of the Holidays?

Merry Christmas, Julianne! Like you, I get so excited to see the Christmas decorations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort! While the first Christmas decorations go up overnight at Magic Kingdom Park, other parks take just a little longer. However, given your arrival date, I think you’re going to see some festive decorations at EPCOT!

For me, the most perfect Christmas event at EPCOT is the Candlelight Processional. This annual event takes place at the America Gardens Theater from late November through December. EPCOT is always decorated in time for the first date of the processional. The later you visit EPCOT during your vacation window, the more likely you are to see the most holiday decorations at EPCOT!

Julianne, I think you are very likely to see Christmas decorations at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and in the other parks! The resort hotels are usually decorated by mid-November at the latest. As I mentioned above, Magic Kingdom Park will be decorated first! As soon as the last “trick-or-treaters” exit Magic Kingdom Park on Halloween night the Halloween decorations come down and the Christmas decorations go up! It’s an amazing transformation!

Enjoy the Christmas season at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Dreams do come true!
