Ahoy, Christina, and thanks for setting sail with planDisney! We're here to help you navigate the uncharted waters of your
Walt Disney World Resort visit, so let's dive in.
As a frequent visitor to
EPCOT, I've found the park to be a great choice for date nights with my husband. We certainly cover a lot of ground there! I understand the importance of saving time and energy during your visit, which is why I highly recommend the
FriendShip Boats that sail across the World Showcase Lagoon. They're a perfect solution to help you save a few steps.
I chatted with a seafaring Cast Member who said the boats typically start ferrying guests between the Canada and Morocco Pavilions about an hour after the park opens. They sail until an hour or so before
Luminous The Symphony of Us begins in the evenings, so be sure to plan your transportation during those hours of operation. Most nights this week, the nighttime spectacular begins at 9:00 PM, so the boats will probably stop running at 8:00 PM.
Look for the FriendShip Landing boat launches near Canada and Morocco for a complimentary ride across the lagoon. Grab a window seat for the cool breezes and best views. The pleasant ride is about 10-15 minutes, and my tip is to snap photos from the water for a unique perspective of the World Showcase. Our boat captain regaled us with trivia about the theme parks and even sang happy birthday to a guest. You never know what pixie dust will appear when you're in the Disney bubble!
Remember that boat schedules depend on weather and occasional maintenance, so please look for signage at the boat launches near Morocco and Canada for the latest updates. I'm sending pixie dust and smooth headwinds so you can enjoy a step-saving cruise soon!
Christina, I'm so glad you stopped by
planDisney. Please come back anytime! We'd love to set sail with you on your Disney voyages.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
