1st trip w/our girls, 7 & 4. Staying 8 days@CBR. Would rather not take the PH option for park passes. How many days should we dedicate to MK? Thinking go to MK when we arrive - looking@12pm arrival, & back the 2nd day? Next best park for 4-7yr olds

    Jennifer,

On a first trip it is safe to skip the Park Hopper Option. There is so much to see in each park you really don’t have to change parks in a given day.

If you are going to be there 8 days, do just what you suggested. Go to the Magic Kingdom that arrival day, and back the next day. After that, assuming you have 5 park days left (guessing no park time on your departure day), I would suggest that you spend a day each at Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom. That leaves two days.

For those two days, certainly spend at least one more at the Magic Kingdom, preferably your final full vacation day. With the other you could choose to not go to a park. Opt instead to relax at your resort. Enjoy the pool, do some shopping at Downtown Disney, sleep in, visit the BoardWalk, or do any of a number of other relaxing things!

Write me back and tell me what days you are coming, how many park days you decided on, and I can recommend an itinerary!

    Have a magical vacation!
