Our 1st Trip to WDW and trying to have all my ducks in a row. We're going to MVMCP the first night getting there and don't want to miss anything. Do you have a schedule of all the events/activities that are happening? Thank you!

    Hi, Sue!

How exciting to be planning your first-ever visit to Walt Disney World Resort! I commend you for being organized and doing some important pre-planning in advance of your arrival -- familiarizing yourself with the "lay of the land" will really help to make your visit extra magical!

Experiencing Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is a great way to begin your stay! I'm not sure what time you'll be arriving on property, but guests holding MVMCP tickets can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM (even thought the Party doesn't officially begin until 7:00 PM). If you are able, I definitely recommend enjoying those extra 3 hours in the park!

I also recommend visiting the independent website AllEars.net which features an excellent section on MVMCP, including "tips for making the most of the Party" and a very useful PDF of the official 2013 Party Guidemap (where you'll find the complete schedule for the holiday parade, fireworks and shows). During MVMCP you can also enjoy two Character Dance Parties, meet-and-greet opportunities with some of your favorite Disney Characters, and several Holiday Treat Locations throughout the park.

Please stop by the Moms Panel again with any other questions as you continue planning your trip.

Wishing you a magical first visit!
