This is our 3rd trip to WDW and our 1st time traveling during the Christmas season. We wanted to know what the MK and properties do for the season. We are surprising our son with this holiday trip and want to take full advantage of the holiday events

    Hi Daisy!

Christmas is one of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World (WDW) as there are so many wonderful things to do!

Here is a list of my top favorite things to do during the Christmas season at Walt Disney World:

    1. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - This is a separately ticketed event at Magic Kingdom, in which you can see snow fall on main street, have cookies and hot chocolate, watch a special Christmas edition of Wishes and a Christmas parade.

    2. Ride Jingle Cruise - The Jingle Cruise takes over Jungle Cruise so you can view a special Christmas-themed edition of this attraction

    3. Meet Santa Claus in City Hall at Magic Kingdom or at Disney Springs

    4. Listen to the holiday storytellers throughout the World Showcase at Epcot

    5. Watch the Candlelight Processional at Epcot

    6. Watch Illuminations at Epcot - There is a special holiday edition

    7. Visit the Gingerbread House displays at the Walt Disney World resorts. My favorites are at Grand Floridian and The Contemporary

    Magically,
    Stacy

My name is Stacy and I'm a native Carolinian, single mom to two amazing teens, and a Walt Disney World fanatic! My kids and I are Disney Annual Passholders and whether we are celebrating a birthday, running a runDisney race, or simply having a craving for a Mickey pretzel, we visit the most magical place on earth as much as possible! I am ecstatic to share the tips and tricks I have learned over the yEARS as part of the planDisney panel!
