Hi, Cheryle! Can I just tell you that I love this idea? We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our very first grandbaby, and I have already planned our first trip together.
There are some of the best characters at character dining experiences that don't involve princesses. I have all daughters, but except for the first one, the princesses weren't a big draw for my gang. Their favorite was always the ultimate character meal,
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. With Mickey and friends, a delicious buffet, and a rousing good time, it's a great way to meet some of your Disney favorites.
Another big hit with my kids has always been the
'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast. Located at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. You can find Lilo and Stitch there, along with Mickey and some other friends. This is also a fun meal, with a parade of kids around the restaurant, and it's served family style, so no juggling your plate and your grandson's!
Join Safari Donald and friends at
Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I personally love this buffet meal, as you'll find some familiar favorites as well as some unique and delicious African flavors. It's another interactive experience, with musical instruments and so much fun.
Characters may vary, but you'll find nary a princess at any of these dining experiences. Perfect for your little prince.
Thank you for your question, Cheryle. Have a blast!
Anna
