1st trip to WDW in May staying at ASMovies, ? what is the difference in Prefferd/standard rooms? Would like to request the toy story building. Do you have to have the preferred room for that? Thanks. Great panel

Hey there Tina! How exciting that your first Disney World vacation is almost here! We love All Star Movies, and it's the perfect resort for your first Disney holiday.

The standard and preferred rooms at All Star Movies are the same, rather it is the location that differs. Preferred rooms are located in the Fantasia, 101 Dalmations and Toy Story buildings, and due to their proximity to the main pool and Cinema Hall, have an additional charge of approximately $15 per night plus tax. If you wish to upgrade to a preferred room, you're best to call (407) 939-7675 as soon as possible to see if there's availability.

If you have time, take the short walk over to the All Star Music Resort next door and check out their pool side activities, or the pool-side movies after dark.

    Have a fantastic vacation!
