1st trip to WDW with 2 families, and grandparents age 70+ (it's their 50th anniv). We have a clear picture of what families with little kids should do, but what about seniors? Can you give a top 10 of things for seniors to do at WDW? What can't they miss?

    Hi Patrick,

I love the idea of celebrating a 50th anniversary at Walt Disney World. It's a great place for families of ALL ages.

As with anyone, the best activities at WDW for seniors depends a bit on their interests, mobility and activity level. My 70+ year old parents are quite fit, they bike, lifts weights, and walk four or five miles every day. They can really do anything at WDW, including roller coasters and sports activities, but I understand that other seniors might have medical issues to consider. Here's a list of popular adult and family activities.

    - Fine dining. There are many wonderful gourmet restaurants at WDW. The best is Victoria & Albert's. They can create a truly memorable anniversary meal.

    - Golfing

    - Spa treatments

    - Exploring Epcot's World Showcase

    - Watching fireworks and parades

    - Taking a backstage tour.

    - Watching Cirque du Soliel La Nouba.

    - Hearing favorite songs at the Jellyrolls piano bar.

    - Listening to classic American songs at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue

    - Tasting beverages from around the world at Epcot's Club Cool

    - Sharing the Beach Club's Kitchen Sink sundae with the family

    - Catching dinner and a movie at the AMC 24 theater

    - Going on rides at the parks

    - Viewing the animals on the Animal Kingdom forest trails.

We're happy to give you more info on any of these ideas to see if they fit your folks' lifestyle.
