1st trip to WDW Dec 16-24. Want to make the most out of our time at the MK. Could you please suggest the "Must See and Do" for our DD14 & DS11. Also a bit confused if we should take advantage of the MPH or stay away since we don't have park

    Hi Leslie,

My children are aged 11 and 13 so I asked for their favourite attractions at Magic Kingdom, this is what they said that they "must do".

    • Splash Mountain
    • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    • Buzz Lightyear
    • Space Mountain
    • Monsters Inc Laugh Floor
    • Pirates of the Caribbean
    • Mickey's PhilharMagic

They also listed the attractions that they only go on when forced by me which included the Carousel of Progress, It's A Small World, The Tiki Rooms and Country Bear Jamboree!

Everyone has a different opinion on whether to attend parks with extra magic hours or not, due to past experience I always avoid them as I have always found them to be more crowded. If you think about how many Disney resorts there are that's an awful lot of people taking advantage of the extra hours which in turn will leave the other parks less busy!

    Have a great trip,
