Our trip to WDW is coming in Sept 3adults, 5yo & 4yo. We have the dining plan. I've made reservations for character dining: all buffets. I know gratuities are not included, but what should we leave (ballpark)? I need to plan! thanks!

    Hi Vicki,

What a great time of the year to be traveling to the Walt Disney World Resorts!

In general, tipping at Disney is the same as at any other restaurant. Your tip should be between 15-20% of the price of the meal. For a buffet, I generally stick to the 15% because the server is only bringing drinks and clearing dishes. Some guests might tip lower than that for the same reason.

For great service, I spend the 20% because I appreciate all the little extras.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
