We have a trip to WDW booked for Sept.28th to Oct.9th and are wondering how likely a free dining plan is for us Canadians? I have character meals booked for each day but we will probably have to cancel the entire trip if free dining is not offered, ideas?

Hi Benita and Shawn! Thanks for writing! I love hearing from fellow Canadians! We certainly have lucked out in the past with free dining offers, both to the general population and with offers that were specific to Canadians. Sadly, we here at the Moms Panel don't know in advance of what kind of special offers are coming our way, but fingers are crossed for it!

Be sure to check the Disney World Special Offers page often. And by that, I mean daily if you can. Especially since you already have your preferred dates, you'll want to be able to grab a deal as soon as it's offered, as dates do tend to fill up and sell out quickly.

Also, I always make sure my personal information on the Disney World website is updated and that I am logged in whenever I'm on the site. Lately, I have received some free dining offers and other special offers to me personally by email. These are always a great surprise!

And be sure you are checking both the standard US page and the Canadian version. To do this, go to the bottom left corner of the webpage and select Canada: English (or French) under the "Select an International Version" tab.

Best of luck Benita and Shawn! Write back with any other questions!
