My trip to WDW begins 6/3/16.My window to make ADR's is Sunday,12/6. I logged into the Disney dining reservation site to familiarize myself with it. The date box only allows ADR's 6 months ahead. How will I be able to make ADR's for 6 days into

    Hi Julia,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you familiarized yourself with the Advance Dining Reservation system prior to the date you would like to start booking. The wonderful thing about this system is when your reservation number is entered into My Disney Experience and you login to make your dining reservations, the system knows that you are staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. It will allow you to make your reservations for up to the first 10 days of your vacation in advance (effectively 190 days prior), so you will see the days of your vacation open up when you make your plans at the 180 day mark.

Suggestions to obtain hard-to-get reservations for dining (such as any dining with Princesses, Chef Mickey's, and Be Our Guest): book the last days of your vacation first with the hard to get reservations and work your way backward through your vacation days with restaurants that aren't so busy.

Julia, if you have problems booking on your 180 day mark, don't hesitate to call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE. The Cast Members there are truly wonderful and can help you make your dining dreams a reality. Please note that the online system opens up at 6 a.m. for booking and the phone reservations line opens up at 7 a.m. Eastern time.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
