1st trip schd. w/ 4&8yo girls March 14-16 '11 b/f we depart on our Disney Cruise.1 day at MK with Royal Table resv.for 8:35pm.Will we be able to make the firework show? Also the evening we arrive after a 17hr drive should I make a dinner plans,if so whe

    Hi Coral,

You are really packing in the fun with your family! Since you do not say which day you are at the Magic Kingdom, if the fireworks are at 10:00 pm, you might have a chance. You could still be inside the Castle having dinner which I do believe they bring in the music.

If you are worrying about choosing between the dinner and fireworks, I think your daughters would like the dinner better. It is so magical at Cinderella's Royal Table. The meal should take a little over an hour, and if you mention to your server you are trying to make the fireworks, they might be able to help you make them.

Also, there are fireworks on your cruise so you still get to see fireworks on your trip.

As for where to eat after driving 17 hours, I would say at your resort or drive right to Downtown Disney and pick a bite up there. My girls would not want to sit for another second after arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort. We usually just wing the first day with meals because depending on our flight, we never no how everyone is feeling about eating. This way we head to be early to hit the parks refreshed.

    Have a magical vacation!
